Somehow I've found it simpler to just do this stuff on my own. This might be an idiotic opinion but I never really gotten into NMM to be honest, neither in TES or in Fallouts. Could have just been that particular mod too, because I remember helping some friends with it at the time who were having the same issue.Īnyways, like I said, it was a real early version - haven't used it since, but I'm guessing it's improved. I've never had a problem with NMM, although there have been bugs before, although I have never heard of the one you mentioned where it puts them in the wrong place.

Knowing what they are may help to find the problem for you. However I do know what I'm doing - I always suggest NMM to those new to modding. I've had very few issues doing it manually, far less than I had with NMM. I prefer to install manually as I know where the files are going. Granted, I've not used the latest update of it, so maybe it has improved. Personally I've had more hassles using NMM in the past, (with it not putting files in correct locations, not downloading files properly etc) then I've had installing manually.
